VMDO announce bursary to help labels attend A2IM Indie Week and Indie-Con

Expressions of interest now open for Victorian record labels to join the VMDO delegation

This year, the VMDO and AIR will support 5 VIC-based labels to attend A2IM Indie Week and AIR’s Indie-Con + Awards in Adelaide (30 July – 1 August) – an opportunity to connect, grow and build new markets.

VMDO will provide up to 5 successful applicants with a $1500 (ex gst) per person bursary to support their attendance. This investment is intended to cover a reduced-price ticket (reduced courtesy of AIR), a return flight to Adelaide and accommodation for three nights.

Any independent record label based in Victoria is eligible to apply. Applications close at 5pm on Monday 7th July with the successful labels informed on Tuesday 8th. VMDO will select the successful applicants considering, amongst other things, diversity of labels, potential impact on business and capacity.
