Come to IndieCon with VMDO

This year, AIR will hold the 10th edition of its Indie-Con Australia conference, which has grown from a small gathering in Adelaide to become Australia’s preeminent independent music business conference. It will be attended by speakers and industry leaders from around the globe and from across the nation to discuss challenges and opportunities affecting the sector.

And VMDO would like to take 5 Victorian labels to be part of the conversation, increase their skills and meet these industry leaders from around the globe. We are offering each one $1500 to cover flights, accommodation, tickets and sustenance. We’ll also do what we can to hook you up with people with whom you would like to meet.

Follow the link below and tell us who you are, what your label is all about and how you think you could benefit from attending. You would be required to travel to Adelaide in the morning of the 29th and stay three nights, leaving on Aug 1st. The trip will take in A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition, IndieCon and the AIR Awards.

This program is only open to independent labels based in Victoria and to representatives of the label who are resident in Victoria full-time. Priority will go to labels who best demonstrate the potential benefit in attending and labels who do not usually find themselves in the room at these events. We would love to help everyone, but we're not going to be able to. Decisions will be well-intentioned and final.
