This month, we'll be hosting a very special SXSW edition of Networking Breakfasts.
On Tuesday 23rd July, we're very lucky to be joined by Lizzy Newton who heads up Music Partner Programming at SXSW. Every March, SXSW presents performances from legendary artists and showcases new emerging talent from 60+ countries around the world.
Lizzy has held various roles within the Music programming team over her 11 years at SXSW. She currently works with brand partners to program talent for their events across SXSW Interactive, Film and Music. Some of the brand partners she's worked with include Patreon, Vans, Apple, Boiler Room, Hype Machine, Samsung, Bud Light, Tumblr, Capital One, YouTube, Spotify, Ticketmaster, Dr Martens, and Amazon Originals, among others. Her role in music curation aims to align artists with brands in win win scenarios enhancing the SXSW experience of both while providing value to SXSW attendees. Turning people onto new music is her ultimate goal.
