The Panelists

Elisabeth Hare (Moderator) - Elisabeth is the co-founder of MUS3, an innovative web3 and music education platform and community supported by the Victorian and Australian Government. MUS3 has been embraced by students from 19 countries worldwide and has successfully hosted various music and web3 events across Australia. She is also a versatile researcher, writer and analyst with a particular interest in gaming, emerging tech and economic development. She has worked on numerous web3 initiatives spanning social tokens, education and market research, along with Government-funded initiatives promoting sustainable economic growth, supporting local business and communities.

Katie Brown - Katie Brown is the Artist & Industry Partnerships Lead at Serenade, a music company that uses web3 technology to release Digital Pressings with artists. Katie has 10 years experience creating and implementing creative artist partnerships in the music industry including roles at major labels Universal Music and Sony Music and is passionate about harnessing new technology to nurture the artist-fan relationship.

LÂLKA - Borneo-born, Meanjin-based LÂLKA creates effervescent glitch future club music with high-octane aesthetics. The producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and DJ presents her work through the lens of her own experiences as a queer woman of colour with palatial ferocity and energy. With her unique vocal style and dynamism that comes to life through her performances and online presence, the classically-trained musician forms a niche musical sphere that is entirely her own. She has performed at festivals such as St Jerome's Laneway Festival, FOMO and BIGSOUND, and has supported the likes of international artist Charli XCX and Aria-winner Genesis Owusu, amongst others.

STØNEWÅX - STØNEWÅX is a unique and enigmatic experimental artist and producer who takes listeners on a sonic expedition through his cyber-trip. With a satirical mind and an unquenchable thirst for post-genre beats, he creates a one-of-a-kind musical experience that transcends traditional boundaries. Based on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, STØNEWÅX (AKA Steve Summers) has honed his craft working with esteemed producers/composers Paulie B and OJ Newcomb at Yama-Nui Recording Studio and has collaborated on numerous records with a diverse range of artists. For STØNEWÅX, creating music is a form of meditation, a way to escape the confines of reality and explore new sonic landscapes. His unique approach to music production is a testament to his dedication to the art form and his passion for experimentation.
