VMDO Virtual Networking Breakfasts - SXSW Online 2021

Published 18 February, 2021

When you think SXSW, what is the first thing that comes to mind? For the creative industries, SXSW is recognised as the premier global conference for music, film and interactive media. SXSW Music Festival is a melting pot of artists and music professionals and has a reputation for supporting business opportunities on the world stage.

For the first time in 2021, SXSW will be delivered entirely online. Taking place from March 16-20, the digital experience will bring delegates the benefits of sessions, film festival screenings, music showcases, networking and exhibitions.

Join us for a very special in conversation event, with Hugh Forrest (SXSW Chief Programming Officer) and Dev Sherlock (SXSW Music Programmer) who'll be discussing the decision making process behind delivering the event online, what you can expect and how their vision aligns with what the creative industries need in a crisis. Steering the conversation will be Andrew Watt (SXSW ANZ Representative).

Please ensure you register in order to secure your spot. The Zoom video conference link is contained within your ticket, which you'll be able to access once your registration has been completed.

On the day, join us from 9.00am sharp, as the networking session will begin straight away. To begin with, the VMDO team will be taking participants through the format for this group networking session.

Settle in with a cup of coffee or tea and connect with your music community.
