Attend Bigsound with VMDO and Music Tech Australia

The Victorian Music Development Office and Music Tech Australia are teaming up to support a delegation of emerging Victorian music tech entrepreneurs in attending Bigsound 2026 in Brisbane.

Long established as Australia’s leading music conference, BIGSOUND is the place where artists and industry professionals gather and the perfect opportunity for contacts to be made, networks to be built and ideas to be floated, finessed and market-tested.

Five successful applicants will receive a $2000 contribution towards their accommodation, travel and ticket. They will be invited to the Music Tech Australia meet-up and receive assistance from both VMDO and MTA in arranging meetings if required.

Applicants must be current residents of Victoria and working on a new project at the intersection of music and technology. Applications will be assessed by MTA and VMDO and consider viability, timing, diversity and equity. Successful applicants will be expected to obtain a full conference pass in order to get the most out of BIGSOUND.
